1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of henryeng.com.au and to any purchase you make through this website. By using the site or placing an order you agree to be bound by these terms. The site is operated by Henry Engineering, a precision engineering business based at 17 Lincoln Street, Minto NSW 2566, Australia.

2. Products and pricing

Prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. We do our best to ensure all product details, descriptions and prices are accurate, but errors can occur. If we discover an error in the price of a product you have ordered, we will let you know as soon as possible and give you the option to confirm the order at the corrected price or cancel it.

Product images are indicative only. Actual items may vary slightly in finish or appearance.

3. Orders and payment

Orders are placed through our online checkout, which is provided by Snipcart. Payments are processed by PayPal. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

Your order is accepted when we send a confirmation email. We may decline an order at our discretion, for example if a product is out of stock, if there is a pricing error, or if we suspect the order is fraudulent.

4. Shipping

We ship within Australia only. We do not ship internationally. Shipping costs and delivery times are shown at checkout and depend on your location and the items ordered.

Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you provide. We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier or by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

5. Returns and refunds

We accept returns of unused, in-stock items within 30 days of delivery. To return an item:

• Contact us first at sales@henryeng.com.au to arrange the return.
• The item must be unused and in its original condition and packaging.
• You are responsible for the return shipping cost and for ensuring the item arrives back to us safely. We recommend using a tracked service.
• Once we receive and inspect the item, we will refund the purchase price (excluding the original shipping cost) to your original payment method, usually within 5 business days.

Custom or made-to-order items are not eligible for return unless they are faulty.

6. Faulty or incorrect items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty or different from what you ordered, contact us within a reasonable time and we will arrange a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes those statutory rights.

7. Custom engineering and machining services

Custom CNC machining, precision grinding and other manufacturing services are quoted separately and are subject to the specific terms set out in the relevant quote or work order. A deposit may be required before work starts. Once production has commenced, custom orders cannot be cancelled without paying for work already completed and materials already procured.

8. Use of this website

You agree not to:

• use the website for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its underlying systems;
• interfere with or disrupt the website's operation;
• copy, reproduce or republish content from this website for commercial purposes without our written permission.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos and product descriptions — is owned by Henry Engineering or used under licence and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Henry Engineering's total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of this website is limited to the price you paid for the product or service that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits, loss of business or loss of data. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Privacy

Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using this website you consent to that handling.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last changed.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and Henry Engineering submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
